The Fondation Regards de Provence guards the artistic heritage of an entire region: an impressive collection of around 900 artworks created in and about Provence. For a long time, the foundation resided in the magnificent Palais des Arts—an architectural gem that once housed the city library and archives. This masterpiece was designed by none other than Henri-Jacques Espérandieu, the famous architect of Notre Dame de la Garde. However, by moving into its new premises, the foundation has taken a bold aesthetic turn that could hardly be more radical.
