On the hills north of Nice, the town of Grasse has been synonymous with perfumery since the 16th century. The town is still home to around 30 manufacturers - the big three of which offer tours of their factories and museums. The scents of Provence linger long after you leave - especially if you've bought soap, body spray or perfume to take home.
