How do you solve a (luxury) problem when you feel like you know all the restaurants in town, you're hungry, and you're finding it hard to decide?
This problem usually solves itself—in our case, through the irresistible smile of a young lady serving at Bistro Gusto, who warmly invited us to take a seat.
We sit outside at Place aux Aires under sunshades that provide pleasant shade, listening to the recommendations of our attentive server. The busy activity on the square provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxed lunch in the perfume capital of the world.
The selection is extensive, the menu pleasantly straightforward, and the dishes are noticeably fresh. We relied entirely on the house suggestions. As is true almost everywhere in the region, you absolutely cannot go wrong here. The quality of the ingredients speaks for itself.
Not only because of the excellent (Corsican) beer did we visit frequently and enjoy our time at this restaurant. Bistro Gusto is highly recommended for anyone looking for honest cuisine and heartfelt service.
