The Keiler Brewery Inn in Lohr am Main stands on historic ground, directly on the site of the former Lohr brewery.
In 1986, the local master brewers had a brilliant idea: a naturally cloudy wheat beer with a very special recipe, bottled in the striking swing-top bottle. This was the foundation for the current fame of the Keiler beer specialties, which enjoy cult status far beyond the borders of the Spessart.
From 1878 until early 2001, the traditional brewery was owned by the Stumpf family. During this era, Keiler beer was not only brewed and bottled but evolved into a true regional brand.
In 2012, the old brewery parlor was finally transformed into a modern gastropub brewery with around 250 seats. Since then, the proud brewing tradition has been successfully continued in this new, lively setting.
The menu offers an honest selection of Franconian specialties, various schnitzel variations, and seasonal dishes. The host places great value on using fresh, regional products. Whether for a small snack or a hearty meal—every guest is guaranteed to find the right dish here.
Whether in the cozy beer garden in front of the restaurant or in the parlors on the ground and upper floors: a wonderfully uncomplicated atmosphere prevails at the Keiler Brewery Inn. Here, locals mingle with tourists to enjoy time together over a cool beer and down-to-earth cuisine.
