MainCamping Miltenberg
The campsite in Miltenberg, with a view of the old town which is easily accessible on foot, became our starting point for this section of our journey through the Spessart.
The "MainCamping" Miltenberg campsite stretches along the banks of the Main River. Motorhomes and caravans find their perfect pitch on this lovingly designed site.
The electrical system is brand new and has been modernized – a CEE plug is now mandatory to use the supply at the pitches.
The sanitary facilities are impeccable and clean. This applies to the showers, the sinks, and also to the disposal points for chemical toilets and gray water. Hygiene is a top priority here.
In less than half an hour, you can reach Miltenberg's old town on foot. The narrow streets and alleys are pleasantly cool even on hot summer days. Ice cream parlors and restaurants serving local, cold beer do their part for an enjoyable visit.
Our Recommendation (as of: Summer 2025)
The campsite is very well-maintained. The absence of rigid parceling allows for stress-free positioning of campers or caravans. The sanitary facilities are sparkling clean, there is a kiosk, and the old town is within walking distance. Highly recommended.
