Staufeneck Campsite
At Staufeneck Campsite, "pure camping" is the rule. No frills. Everything you need is there: water, electricity, and plenty of nature. The sanitary facilities are clean, though you'll need small change (as was once common), as usage is not included in the flat rate.
The level terrain makes aligning the caravan easy. The pitch was perfectly graveled and flat. The sanitary facilities are neat and exude the charm of the 70s. Electricity and fresh water taps are sufficiently available, though the walk to the sanitary block can almost turn into a workout depending on your pitch.

The site's concept is clear and simple: here you can stop for a night and sleep much more quietly than at a highway service station. However, you can also easily stay longer if the campsite serves as a peaceful base for activities in nature or in Bad Reichenhall, which is within walking distance. If you expect animation and a swimming pool, this is the wrong place – but if you're looking for honest camping, you're exactly right. Highly recommended.
