The campsite is located on the outskirts of Trévoux, a small town on the edge of the L'Ain region, which few have probably heard of, right on the banks of the Saône. It is an old campsite that once belonged to the municipality and is now privately operated.

The campsite is located on the outskirts of Trévoux, a small town on the edge of the L'Ain region, right on the banks of the Saône. It is an old campsite that used to belong to the municipality and is now run by a private operator. The site is just as we remember it from the past: spacious pitches under mature trees that are reminiscent of parkland. The pitches are also level, so leveling the caravan or motorhome requires little to no work.
Our Recommendation (as of 2019)
Shortly before the end of the season, there were only a few guests left. The long-term campers were literally breaking camp, and so the site manager had time for a chat or for tips on where to go. - And in the village itself, the baker called out to us to remember that the next day was their day off (even though it was posted on the door outside).
