Located in the southern part of the city, but still incredibly quiet. This is what distinguishes the campground in Grasse.
Everything is here what the camper's heart desires: Neat terrain for easy levelling, large and small pitches separated by hedges creating privacy, ancient olive trees that provide shade.
It's quiet here, you feel right in the middle of Mediterranean nature. Cicadas sing and eventually it chooses your sneakers to skin at night.
What to do here
Grasse can be explored perfectly from here. If you like art, visit the various museums or the artist scene at the Place de la Poissonnerie below the town hall. The theme of perfume is omnipresent in Grasse in museums, the old factories of the Pafumeuere, small independent perfumers, of which we present our selection here.
And there are two other large areas, the hinterland of Grasse and the Mediterranean beaches.
Our recommendation
Status: Autumn 2018
We have been to this course four times since 2018. The place offers what can be expected from a 3*** place. The curves on the site are sometimes very tight, losing nerves means damage to the vehicle. There is little space for maneuvering and a mover on the caravan is necessary to be able to put it properly and level.
Highly recommended.
